Heavy-Duty Wood Shredding for Bulky Feedstock

Large wood waste streams often contain mixed materials, irregular shapes and difficult feedstock. This industrial wood shredder is designed to accept a broad range of wood materials and reduce them to a manageable size for downstream screening, chipping, biomass utilization or further processing.

The machine can be supplied as a stationary system or adapted to mobile applications using tracked or wheeled configurations, depending on the required operating environment and project layout.

Working Principle

An electric motor or diesel engine drives the main rotor. Material enters the processing chamber through the feeding system, where rotating hammers or cutting elements impact and reduce the wood against internal impact surfaces and screening components. Material meeting the required size passes through the screen, while oversized pieces remain in the chamber for further reduction.
